It might be safe to say that the status of one Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher might be nearing the end of his short time with the team.
The Eagles announced the six inactives for the Week 2 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
- Azeez Ojulari
- Tanner McKee
- Will Shipley
- Ogbo Okoronkwo
- Drew Kendall
- Dallas Goedert

There weren't too many surprises to see Goedert, Shipley, and McKee all being injury and out for the game. They were on the injury report all week and were expected to be out.
Ojulari is catching the attention of all Eagles fans being out again
Last week, many were surprised to see Ojulari inactive for the game against the Dallas Cowboys. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni chalked it up as a strategic reason and bringing in players who best fit the matchups.
Once again, Ojulari is out of the game along with edge rusher Okoronkwo. Now this is more likely because Za'Darius Smith was signed last week and is taking a roster spot from them to play in the game.
Smith is a three-time Pro Bowler and has more than earned the right to be active and most likely be in the rotation to play off the edge. Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith Jr. are the other guys who will get a lot of playing time and start in the game.
It certainly feels like Ojulari's time might be coming to an end for the Eagles, as he hasn't played in a game yet this season. He had so much promise coming from the New York Giants over the last few years, but after a slow start to training camp, he has not been able to recover.

Week 3 will be interesting to see how the Eagles handle Ojulari and whether he will continue to be on the roster.
