The Philadelphia Eagles and Rams have met during nine decades of pro football, during periods when the latter has called Cleveland, L.A., and Saint Louis home. Regardless of where the bad guys have laid their heads, Philly has come out on top more often than they haven't.
Never were the stakes higher than when these proud franchises met in 1949 to determine the NFL's champion. Very rarely have we seen an individual performance better than Saquon Barkley's 255-yard rushing performance in Week 12 of this season.
The stakes are again high, not as high as when Philly met the Saint Louis Rams in January, 2002 to determine who would represent the National Football Conference in Super Bowl XXXVI, but we're close. The winner of this one advances to this season's NFC Championship Game.
Overall, Philly leads the all-time series by a 24-20-1 margin. A 25th win would be one of the most satisfying.
Eagles vs. Rams Divisional Round inactives
Just under 48 hours before kickoff, Philly dropped a relatively clean bill of health. Jalen Hurts isn't on the injury report because of his finger anymore.
Byron Young is out (hamstring injury). On the eve of this one, Philly announced practice squad elevations. Recently reacquired Nicholas Morrow is active along with fullback Khari Blasingame.

The Rams braved the elements are in town for this beatdown. They also announced their game-day inactives.
Check back after kickoff. We'll keep a running tally of everyone injured during this week's action below this line.
Update: Quinyon Mitchell enters the medical tent with what appears to be a shoulder injury during the Rams 1st drive. He's ruled as 'questionable' to return.
