Never has an inactives list been so interesting. The Philadelphia Eagles enter Week 18, and the narrative some are pushing is they don't have anything of note to play for. Don't tell your grandfathers or uncles that. Heck, ask them, and they'll probably tell you that the New York Giants are the one team they hate MORE than the Dallas Cowboys.

Yes youngsters, Philly vs. Big Blue is a real thing. When the Birds added Saquon Barkley, that poked the bear a tad because, let's be honest. This hasn't been much of a rivalry as of late.

Philly has taken 28 of the last 34 meetings. Don't you think for a second that winning the NFC East has changed things. The Birds' backups want to win this game. Count on that.

Eagles vs. Giants Week 18 inactives

The Eagles opened Dallas Goedert's 21-day practice window this week. Then, good news came on Saturday. He was elevated back to the roster from the injured reserve.

Philly also announced two practice squad players were elevated from the scout team to the active roster for this week's game. Dallas Gant and Charles Davis will suit up.
