And, just like that, three more Philadelphia Eagles practices are in the books. They'll travel on Saturday and play on Sunday. Week 8 is an NFC East vs. AFC North showdown. We'll be turning the dial from FOX to CBS.
Birds and Cincinnati Bengals clashes don't occur very often. Unless they meet in a Super Bowl, they're only scheduled to play every four seasons. The last tussle in 2020 produced a tie...
That's right... We spent three hours investing emotionally into that game and saw a tie. That's happened twice during the first 14 meetings between these franchises.
Let's hope Sunday's game gives us a winner at least. We don't think that's too much to ask for.
Oh well... On to some housekeeping. Let's talk about what we know as far as injuries.

The Philadelphia Eagles release their final injury report ahead of Eagles vs. Bengals.
Mekhi Becton and Dallas Goedert haven't practiced all week. Both are out vs. the Bengals.
Philly also announced that defensive tackle Byron Young won't play. A few moments later, they announced they're placing him on the team's injured reserve.
Young joins a half-dozen other Eagles on the IR: CB James Bradberry, WR Britain Covey, TE Albert Okwuegbunam, WR Ainias Smith, and two offensive linemen, Le'Raven Clark and Jordan Mailata. John Ross is on the Eagles' practice squad IR.
Philly should be prepared to play minus Goedert and Becton. Dallas missed all of last Sunday's game vs. the Giants and all but three offensive snaps vs. the Cleveland Browns. Becton played only 15 games versus the New York Giants. They'll be replaced by Grant Calcaterra and Tyler Steen.
On the Bengals' side, Orlando Brown, Joe Burrow, Trey Hendrickson, Kris Jenkins, and Geno Stone appeared on Cincinnati's injury report all week. Tee Higgins popped up on their injury report on Friday.
ONly Higgins is listed as questionable. That would be a blow to Cincy if he doesn't play. He and Ja'Marr Chase are two of the NFL's best young wide receivers.
