Eagles injury report: Starter's status is questionable, another is ruled out
Think of this as one of those good news vs. bad news scenarios. DeVonta Smith practiced for a second straight day on Friday. Unfortunately, however, we don't know anything more about his status for Sunday's game than we did hours ago. Well... Maybe that isn't totally true.
After seeing him miss the workout session on Wednesday, it was good to see him get two days of work in. We knew then what we always knew. As Nick Sirianni would say, "we'd get an injury report here a little later."
Darius Slay wasn't seen on the field. We knew what that meant. His chances of playing on Sunday vs. the Baltimore Ravens were slim. Like a Black Friday gift, we stayed glued to our devices. Shortly before 4 pm EST, we were given some answers.

Eagles vs. Ravens injury report
Philly announced the status of several of their players on Friday. As expected, Darius Slay will remain in concussion protocol and sit Week 13's game out. Linebacker/special teamer Ben VanSumeren will also sit out. Seven starters were given rest days.
Kelee Ringo (calf) was on the injury report but practiced fully. Three more Birds were listed as questionable. They are as follows: WR Johnny Wilson (hamstring), Sydney Brown (knee), and the aforementioned DeVonta Smith.
Moro Ojomo practiced in a limited capacity (neck) but appears to be cleared to play. Let's talk about the Ravens.
Baltimore opened a 21-day practice window for nose tackle Michael Pierce. He was a full participant during Friday's practice session after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but he is questionable for Sunday. The Ravens must still elevate him from the injured reserve to the active roster if he's to play. Keep that in mind as we navigate through Saturday.
Two Ravens will sit out of Week 13's game, tight end Charlie Kolar and cornerback Arthur Maulet. Outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy is doubtful while cornerback T.J. Tampa is also questionable.
Roquan Smith returned to practice this week and appears to be good for the game. The full Eagles vs. Ravens Friday injury report is below.
Game time approaches. This one ought to be a lot of fun.
