Drama is somehow building in Philly on victory Monday.

It doesn't take a genius to see that the Philadelphia Eagles' offense hasn't been at its best lately. After all, they've scored a combined 26 points in their last two outings, and they've dropped from being a top-eight scoring offense to being middle of the pack.

Part of the issue has been that teams spent a significant portion of the offseason likely studying how the Eagles achieved such success last year, and another component is the need to replace Kellen Moore with Kevin Patullo. But yet, a lot of the blame has shifted toward Jalen Hurts.

Star wide receiver A.J. Brown has seemed fed up during the 2025 campaign, and The Athletic's Dianna Russini did Hurts no favors either with her latest report, insinuating that people inside the building in Philadelphia are also growing tired of Hurts' approach this year.

Seth Joyner and his sources also think Eagles have a Jalen Hurts issue

Well, the plot thickened even more. Legendary Eagles defender Seth Joyner joined Sports Radio 94 WIP, and when asked about how much of the team's struggles fall on Hurts, he threw gas on Russini's report.

"You know, it's troublesome because I work with an Eagles insider, and we had an in-depth conversation last night on our postgame show. And it seems to him that there is some consternation when it comes to Jalen. Not only in the locker room, but in the organization, and that's problematic because from the outside looking in, you would never think that," Joyner said. "There's certain things and certain ways that [Hurts] likes to run things, and there are things that they run in practice that they get in the game, and he goes off on his own tangent. To me, that's problematic."

Joyner was not done with his takedown of Hurts. While acknowledging that Hurts tends to be more accurate than he was in Week 11, and also noting that the Eagles had several drops, Joyner went into further depth about the issues arising in Philadelphia.

"I have it on fact that the interception that [Hurts] threw in the first Giants game, the one on the sideline when A.J. was wide open, that in practice, he threw that ball to A.J. a few times. You get in the game, and you're not patient enough to wait for it, and you throw the out route, and it almost turns into a pick-six," Joyner said. "Devonta confirmed that 1 and 11 made the change on their own. See, to me, that's borderline insubordination when you're not running plays the way that the coach is drawing them up, or you think that you know better than the coach. So, [Hurts] bears a lot of responsibility (for the Eagles' struggles)."

Somehow, despite a triumphant win against a great Detroit Lions team in Week 11, things are spiraling for the Eagles. Keep in mind that just two games ago, the team hung 38 points on the New York Giants, and 28 points in the contest before that against the Minnesota Vikings.

Obviously, Hurts is not playing at the level that he was last season, especially late in the year. However, it's only been nine months since he led this team to a Super Bowl victory, and as important as it is for the offense to get back on track, neither the fans nor the organization can lose sight of that.
