Philadelphia Eagles fans pretty much knew the moment the clock hit zero in their 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears on Black Friday that Philly sports media would be ablaze with hot topics.

Most of the targets have been Nick Sirianni, Kevin Patullo, and Jalen Hurts, who have taken the brunt of the blame for the loss. From Patullo's predictable play calling to Hurts' two turnovers in the Bears game, none of those three have been safe from the wrath of the media, but one of the very few good performers might be getting it worse than anyone else in the franchise: A.J. Brown.

One of the very few bright spots for the team, Brown had his best game of the season with 10 receptions off of 12 targets for 132 yards and two touchdowns. For former Eagle and current radio host Seth Joyner, the lack of noise from Brown after the game is what pushed him over the edge with the star receiver.

"A lot of people are going to be pissed at me, and he might even be pissed at me, but in a lot of ways he's a typical wide receiver—21st century wide receiver diva and he's selfish because when he was getting the ball on a regular basis, there was no complaining. The Eagles lost two games in a row, and A.J. Brown had nine-plus targets and a touchdown. You ain't complaining now? That tells me that all of that bitching and moaning was really self-centered."

Brown taking the biggest hit of all the Eagles after Bears loss

To be somewhat fair to Brown, he has slowly started to take accountability for his performances over the last few games. At the same time, Joyner wasn't exactly wrong about what he said about Brown.

Usually, social media would be flooded with what Brown said after games, which would be bad. This time around, there wasn't a lot from him that really stood out. It was more from Sirianni, Hurts, and Barkley.

In what was one of the worst performances of the season for the Eagles, Brown at least stepped up and did what he could. Besides his false start penalty on the opening drive, Brown played a flawless game and was able to get open on crossing routes, a massive change from the hitch and slant routes he's been doing all season.

Joyner's comments are going to blow up quite a bit like anything involving Brown, but how much will Eagles fans read into the comments, and do they even matter with the laundry list of issues going on in Philly right now?
