We promised you he'd break two. We officially owe you one. Saquon Barkley's days began with boos from many of the fans present in MetLife Stadium. He's making life a nightmare for his former New York Giants teammates, and even though we predicted he'd break the Philadelphia Eagles' first-quarter scoring jinx, we'll have to settle for half of that guarantee.

He opened the scoring in Eagles vs. Giants by dragging seemingly everyone into the end zone.

A 55-yard run set the Birds up with a red-zone opportunity. Kenneth Gainwell gave him a breather for two plays, but we all know how this drive needed to end.

Beautiful stuff, right? Nolan Smith has his second sack in as many games. A sack in the first half gives Josh Sweat a sack for the third consecutive week. Bryce Huff even got in on the act with a QB takedown.

Things are going well in Jersey, but there's also bad news to report.

Mekhi Becton leaves Week 7's game with an injury.

Starting right guard Mekhi Becton took a trip to the medical tent and left for the locker room. The prognosis isn't a good one.

He's been ruled out for the remainder game. A concussion is the diagnosis. Tyler Steen will fill in at right guard.

Becton was very critical of the MetLife Stadium playing surface early this week. He played there during home games as a New York Jets star for four years. He signed with Philly this past April shortly after the 2024 NFL Draft had concluded.

Head injuries are always serious, so we're hopeful. Our fingers are crossed this way. Let's hope his recovery is swift. Let's hope he's back in the offensive starting lineup sooner rather than later.

Update: Saquon has that other 20-yarder now.
