Change is life's only constant. While you didn't necessarily need football or the Philadelphia Eagles to teach you that, when that thought crossed our minds this morning, they were honestly the first thing we thought of. Here's what's funny. Even if the change is expected, it can still catch you off guard.

Just think about the past few weeks. We all knew Darius Slay, Milton Williams, and Josh Sweat would leave and find homes elsewhere. We knew Brandon Graham would retire, but look at us. All of this still seems weird, right?

So, yes... Change is constant, and our Birds are changing constantly. New guys have already been added via free agency, and the same will happen once we reach the NFL Draft.

Eagles Top 30 Visits Tracker

If nothing changes, the Philadelphia Eagles will walk into Green Bay for the 2025 NFL Draft armed with eight picks. All of those picks are between Rounds 1-5. Each selection meeting is important, but the Birds want to nail this one as they have done the past few.

They've already been meeting with prospects. We'll list them here once their sit-downs with Philly have been confirmed. As usual, the Birds are looking for trench warriors. Most of their early visits were scheduled with a few.

Write these names on your imaginary draft boards and commit them to memory.

Marcus Mbow, offensive lineman, Purdue Boilermakers

The Eagles love linemen who are versatile, and Marcus Mbow is all of that and then some. He started 18 games at right tackle and 14 games at right guard.

His best fit for the pro level is seemingly to move inside, but we'll see. He is currently projected to be a Day 2 pick, possibly in Round 3. His visit was announced via his story on Instagram.

Josh Conerly Jr., OL, Oregon Ducks

The scouting report states Josh Conerly only allowed two sacks during 28 starts at Oregon. He stonewalled the top defensive player in this draft, Abdul Carter, during a head-to-head matchup. He also went viral for being bulldozed by Marshall edge rusher Mike Green, so naturally, questions were asked about his anchor.

Talk about two opposite ends of the spectrum.

On the bright side, he's a left tackle who, on the bright side, is praised for what he brings to the table as a run blocker. Might he be an option for replacing Lane Johnson when the legend retires?

Anthony Belton, OL, North Carolina State Wolfpack

Here's one of the more experienced prospects in the class. Anthony Belton played over 2,200 snaps at left tackle who gives new meaning to the phrase 'he's a mountain of a man'. He stands at six-foot-six, and he tips the scales at 336 pounds. He has 36-inch arms.

He has shown athleticism as a pass protector and strength as a road grader. He is projected to come off of the board late on Day 2 or early on Day 3.

Jalen Travis, OL, Iowa State Cyclones

Jalen Travis is, in a word, HUGE. Try six-foot-eight and 339 pounds on for size. The theory is he could be brought along slowly as a project starter at right tackle or move inside to play guard. Think about what happened if the latter scenario occurred.

Sandwich this dude between Cam Jurgens and Lane Johnson. Then, line Ben VanSumeren up as a fullback in front of Saquon Barkley.

Heck, Saquon might run for 3,000 yards if that were to happen.

Elijah Roberts, defensive end, SMU Mustangs

Once upon a time, the 2022 NFL Draft to be exact, Philly added a nice prospect who had resurrected his career by way of a fine season with the SMU Mustangs. That was Grant Calcaterra. Almost three seasons later, they may have found gold in another diamond in the rough who began his collegiate career elsewhere but migrated to Southern Methodist University.

Former Miami Hurricane (2020-22) turned Mustang (2023-24), Elijah Roberts, told reporters he has visits with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Eagles scheduled. He earned Second-Team All-AAC honors in 2023 and racked up 17.5 sacks during the past two NCAA seasons.

Maxwell Hairston. cornerback, Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky isn't just a basketball school anymore. You can thank Mark Stoops for that. They've put some talent in the NFL over the years.

Maxwell Hairston is a two-time Second-Team All-SEC nod (2023, 2024). He's five-foot-11 and tops out at about 183 pounds which, at best, means he's probably a backup slot corner if Philly drafts him.

We're a month away from the NFL Draft, so we'll see what happens. The Birds have shown interest as the former Wildcat visited the NovaCare Complex recently.

Jaydon Blue, running back, Texas Longhorns

Philly is among the teams doing its homework on Texas RB Jaydon Blue. He reportedly has visits scheduled with the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Source: Jordan Reid

He and Bijan Robinson shared the Longhorns' backfield in 2022. During Blue's final two seasons at Texas, he appeared in 29 games and notched 730 yards rushing and 11 TDs on 199 carries. He added an additional 503 yards receiving and seven more TDs on 56 career receptions.

Charles Grant, offensive tackle, William & Mary Tribe

Charles Grant is a monster. He's a six-foot-five, 311-pounder who did well during his week at the Senior Bowl. Philly will love him because he's another of those blends of quickness, power, and athleticism.

Tyler Baron, EDGE, Miami Hurricanes

If Philly is viewing Tyler Baron as a realistic option at the EDGE position, hopefully, they'd be adding him after already drafting another. Most would like to see Philly satisfy that need early, and Baron might be a guy who's available late on Day 2 or early on Day 3.

PFF lists him as the 28th-best edge defender and the 153rd-best player overall. Baron can ball though. Make no mistake about it.

He stands at six feet five. He tips the scales at 258 pounds, and after transferring to the Miami Hurricanes last season after spending four years at Tennessee, he notched 5.5 sacks, giving him 19 for his five-year run at the NCAA level. He also tallied 38 tackles after collecting 101 with the Volunteers.

Donovan Jackson, offensive lineman, Ohio State Buckeyes

Add Donovan Jackson's name to the list of the growing list of offensive linemen the Eagles have met with. Since 2021, he has played 1,963 snaps at left guard, 61 snaps at right guard, nine snaps at right tackle, and 529 snaps at left tackle per PFF.

You have to love the versatility, but he probably grades as a guard once he reaches the NFL stage.

Oluwafemi Oladejo, EDGE, UCLA Bruins

Oluwafemi Oladejo is a six-foot-three, 259-pound off-ball linebacker and edge rusher who racked 4.5 sacks as a senior. There's only one problem. In 47 career games at the NCAA level, he only racked up six QB takedowns in total.

That begs the question. Was the 2024 season more indicative of his talents, or do we grade him based on his first two seasons at Cal.

Or, should we consider doing both?

Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College Eagles

Check out every draft pundits' top-ten list of edge rushers, and you'll find Donovan Ezeiruaku's name somewhere on the list. He's an undersized prospect. Many place him on the back-half of their list of this class's elite rushers for that reason, but it's hard to argue with the production.

He tallied 80 tackles, 16.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles in 2024. He'll need to prove he can set the edge at the NFL level because even if the Birds did take a flier on him, he won't see the field if he can't.

See Bryce Huff for evidence.

Jacob Parrish, cornerback, Kansas State Wildcats

Jacob Harris is a short, five-foot-ten, 191-pound nickel prospect. He plays with an ultra-competitive nature and would fit in with Philly's blend of personalities, providing a smooth transition from Avonte Maddox and giving the Birds confidence in their backup corner.

Source: Jacob Parrish

Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M Aggies

Nic Scourton is an undersized pass rusher, but by comparison, he's an inch taller than Nolan Smith and almost 20 pounds heavier. Some have graded him as a Day 2 prospect who could, at his ceiling, sneak in as one of the final players drafted on Day 1.

Korie Black, cornerback, Oklahoma State Cowboys

Korie Black impressed at his Pro Day, running an unofficial 4.35-second 40-yard dash and 39-inch vertical. He's a six-foot-tall, 185-pounder who snagged three interceptions during his final season at Oklahoma State in 2024.

Shemar Turner, defensive tackle, Texas A&M Aggies

Philly would love to add another standout to the interior of their defensive line. Shemar Turner is one of those 'bang for buck guys', logging ten sacks, three forced fumbles, and 24 tackles for loss during 43 career games with Texas A&M.

There are concerns here. He was ejected for punching an Ole Miss player in the crotch in 2023. He also missed the Senior Bowl because of a stress fracture in his leg.

Dylan Fairchild, guard, Georgia Bulldogs

Dylan Fairchild played the majority of his snaps at left guard from 2023-24 (1,306) but has also played 119 snaps at right guard.

EDGE Tyler Barron (Miami Hurricanes) & CB Jaylin Smith (USC Trojans)

Add two more names to the list of prospects that met with the Eagles before the draft.

Connor Watkins, quarterback

The Eagles have reportedly worked out Villanova Wildcats QB Connor Watkins.

Tyleik Williams, defensive tackle, Ohio State

Tyliek Williams suited up for 51 games at Ohio State, making 25 starts. His career resume boasts 136 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. He earned Second-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2023 and a Third-Team All-Big Ten nod in 2024.

Source: Aaron Wilson

Jaylen Reed, safety, Penn State Nittany Lions

Jaylen Reed, a 2024 Second-Team All-Big Ten nod, started 29 of 50 in-game appearances for the Nittany Lions. The numbers: 181 tackles, seven pass breakups, five interceptions, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. (2024-24)

He'd make an exceptional addition to a safety rotation already featuring Reed Blankenship and Sydney Brown.

Source: Mike Garafolo

T.J. Sanders, defensive interior, South Carolina Gamecocks

T.J. Sanders spent four years at South Carolina and earned Second-Team All-SEC honors for his efforts. 39 in-game appearances with 16 starts helped add 109 tackles (18 for loss), 9.5 sacks, an six pass breakups to his NCAA resume.

Source: Adam Schefter

Trey Amos, cornerback, Ole Miss Rebels

Trey Amos spent his first three NCAA seasons at Louisiana (2020-2022) before spending a season with Alabama (2023) and eventually landing with the Rebels. One of the more experienced corners on this list, he has appeared in 61 games at the collegiate level, notching 121 total tackles, four interceptions, 31 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles.

Source: Mike Garafolo

Malaki Starks, safety, Georgia

It's certainly a party now. Philly is eyeing a potential Round 1 safety. What in Heaven is going on?

Malaki Starks is viewed by many as the top safety in this draft class. Might he go earlier, or will he still be on the board and available giving the Birds the option if they want to select him?

Source: Eliot Shorr-Parks

Wyatt Milum, offensive lineman, West Virginia Mountaineers

Add Wyatt Milum's name to the list of O-line prospects the Eagles have met with. In 2024, he earned First-team All-Big 12 honors and a Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year nod on his way toi being named a Consensus All-American.

Source: Anthony DiBona

Justin Walley, CB (Minnesota Golden Gophers) and Rayuan Lane III, safety (Navy Midshipmen)

Add two more DBs to the list of reported visits.

Source: Jeff McLane reports Justin Walley is the last of the team’s top 30 visits before the NFL draft. Rayuan Lane counts as a local visit.

LeQuint Allen, running back, Syracuse Orange

Syracuse running back LeQuint Allen posted on his Instagram story that he visited the NovaCare Complex on a pre-draft visit. He notched 2,085 rushing yards and 30 total touchdowns over the two most recent NCAA seasons.

Final thoughts: Though pre-draft visits don't guarantee that a player will land with the team he speaks with, Philadelphia does take these meetings seriously.

Philly hosted Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Tyler Steen and Kelee Ringo on top 30 visits before the 2023 NFL. Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Jalyx Hunt, Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson were all prospects that the Eagles sat down with before the NFL Draft in 2024.
