We often resist the temptation to mention young Philadelphia Eagles in the same breath as Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees. It's a respect thing. You understand. You never want to put that type of pressure on some of the young guys.

Something tells us Jalen Hurts can handle it though. You know... Those daily rent payments and whatnot... So, here we go. Jalen just did a thing that we haven't seen since LaDainian Tomlinson was playing.

Jalen Hurts places his name in some very rare air.

Jalen Hurts, thanks to yet another Brotherly Shove, is the seventh player in NFL history to collect 13 or more rushing TDs in three straight seasons. That hasn't been done since LaDanian Tomlinson did so from 2002 to 2007.

Once upon a time, we would spend hours discussing how the Eagles were robbing Saquon Barkley of TD rushes because they were calling the quarterback sneak so much. Then, we learned that Saquon's salary structure doesn't have any rushing TD incentives attached to it.

Jalen Hurts has notched a double-digit rushing TD total during every season that he has been a starter. He has 54 rushing TDs on his professional resume.
