These days, it feels like both Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones haven't seen a trade idea come across their desks that they didn't like.

Nobody has been wheeling and dealing more than these two teams over the past couple of years, although the Eagles are typically adding great players rather than trading them away. But that's neither here nor there.

As the NFL trade deadline approaches (November 4), all eyes will be on the Eagles and Cowboys once again, because you never know when these two teams are going to pull off a blockbuster deal. A recent post on SI.com outlined one trade for every NFL team, and the idea they suggested for the Cowboys would give Eagles fans some nightmares.

Eagles would hate to see Cowboys add a stud pass rusher like Bradley Chubb

Here's what SI had to say about their proposed trade idea:

"Making the playoffs is unlikely without the defense showing some improvement. The Cowboys desperately need pass-rushing help, and the Dolphins have a surplus at the position. Chubb, 29, is in the midst of an impressive comeback season after overcoming multiple significant injuries. He might never regain his top form, but with three sacks this season, it’s clear that he remains a quality pass rusher. "

Matt has a great point. The Dallas Cowboys' latest game against the Green Bay Packers is a perfect example that they are unlikely to go far this season, given the current state of their defense.

As well as Dak Prescott has played this year, which Eagles fans got to see firsthand in the opening week of the season, it's pretty clear that the defense in Dallas is going to limit their ceiling to eight or nine wins at this point.

And because Jerry Jones has made it clear that he believes he can win a championship with Prescott as his quarterback, don't be surprised to see him get aggressive and make a move like this if it presents itself.

The irony here is that the Eagles could also use some additional help off the edge, and Chubb has played for Vic Fangio at multiple stops. Fangio was his coordinator while Chubb was with the Denver Broncos, and then again during Fangio's lone year with the Miami Dolphins.

If the Cowboys make a trade like this, you can almost take it to the bank that Eagles GM Howie Roseman is going to find a way to answer it with a move of his own.

The suggested trade for the Eagles in this post was to send AJ Brown to the Denver Broncos for Marvin Mims Jr. and a draft pick, which would be an absolutely earth-shattering trade if it were to happen. Instead of a controversial move, however, you can expect the Eagles to be on the hunt for someone who can help them become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champs in the NFC since the Cowboys did it back in the 90s.
