Maybe we're still inebriated by the conclusion of Philly's nail-biting win vs. the Los Angeles Rams, but we'll tell you what. If the Birds go on to win a Super Bowl and hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of this season, it's going to be very hard to say he isn't.

The Eagles will host the rival Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.

The stage is set. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the NFC Championship Game at Lincoln Financial Field. The opponent is familiar yet one they have never faced there.

Philly and the Washington Commanders' rivalry dates back to 1934 when the other guys were in Boston. The bad guys lead the all-time series by a 90-85-5 margin.

The last (and only) time they met during the postseason was more than 34 years ago (January 5, 1991). Washington won that by a 20-6 margin at Veterans Stadium.

The stakes have never been higher for a meeting between these two than they will be on Championship Sunday. 3 p.m. EST is the time of kickoff. Something tells us there isn't an Eagles fan walking who will miss that one.
