Well, the Philadelphia Eagles have certainly put themselves in an interesting position going into their Week 3 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Eagles released their inactive list for the Rams game with seven players being included:
- Azeez Ojulari, EDGE
- Tanner McKee, QB (Third QB)
- Will Shipley, RB
- Ogbo Okoronkwo, EDGE
- Patrick Johnson, EDGE
- Drew Kendall, OL
- Kenyon Green, OL

The lack of edge rushers leaves some questions for the Eagles
Once again, Ojulari is inactive for the third consecutive game. This has become a fascinating storyline on why he is not playing in these games. The team brought him in during the offseason to be one of the backup pass rushers, but he hasn't had a chance to play. It was clear during training camp that he did not do enough to gain the trust of the coaching staff.
The more interesting thing about the inactive list is that three edge rushers are included on the list. That would mean the Eagles will only have four pass rushers active against the Rams.
This puts more pressure on guys like Nolan Smith Jr., Jalyx Hunt, and Josh Uche to play more snaps. Any injury to the edge rusher position and the Eagles could be in trouble. It would force them to move Jihaad Campbell on the edge and bring in Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at inside linebacker. Not a bad thing, but injuries can't happen with the current roster.
The other edge rushers inactive for the game include Johnson and Okoronkwo. Philly is a big fan of both guys since bringing them in, but Campbell's potential impact at inside linebacker and off the edge makes it a bit easier for them to leave out some edge rushers.

There's some pressure on the Eagles' edge rushers to create some more sacks, as it has been a mixed performance from them. Can they get in the face of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford?
