The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to get back on track after a four-game losing streak as they face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.

One of the biggest storylines of the game was whether Eagles running back Saquon Barkley would be active for the contest. Philly delivered good news: Barkley is officially active against the Cowboys.

Here is the full list of the inactives for the Eagles in Week 7:

  • Cole Payton, QB3
  • Michael Carter II, S
  • Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE
  • DeVonta Smith, WR
  • Dontayvion Wicks, WR
  • Jake Majors, OL

Eagles' Week 7 inactives do not include Saquon Barkley

This is the first time that Barkley has been active since the Eagles' Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.

Many have criticized the Eagles' rushing attack without Barkley in the lineup in Weeks 5 & 6. Philly managed just 57 yards and averaged under two yards per carry. Barkley will split carries with Dameon Pierce in the game.

Barkley is not the only big return for the Eagles. Landon Dickerson, Eli Stowers, and Grant Calcaterra are also back after their long stints on IR.

Dickerson returns for the first time since his infamous Week 1 performance against the Washington Commanders, when he allowed four pressures and one sack. He has been on IR since then with a knee injury, but he will most likely return to his starting left guard spot.

Stowers and Calcaterra have not played in the NFL season and are looking to make an immediate impact. The Eagles carry four tight ends, including Dallas Goedert and Johnny Mundt. Calcaterra and Stowers likely won't get many offensive reps.

Another major name that is not on the inactive list is Jonathan Greenard. Before the game, Greenard was listed as questionable, but will be available to play.

DeVonta Smith, Nolan Smith Jr. highlights players who are inactive against Cowboys

The tough part is how many great talents won't be on the field. Offensively, DeVonta Smith and Wicks are massive losses for the passing game. That leaves Makai Lemon and Darius Cooper to fill in for them.

Nolan Smith Jr. and Carter being out also hurts a defense already facing some big questions about the pass rush and coverage. Jalyx Hunt is at least back to help Smith in the starting lineup, and Greenard is active as well after being listed as questionable. Marcus Epps and Kenny Moore will get reps at safety, but both have played inconsistently so far this season.

This is a big game that the Eagles cannot afford to lose if they want any shot at winning the NFC East. If they lose to Dallas, this could be the final nail in the coffin for the Eagles' 2026 campaign.
