Well, lookey here! How about this turn of events? The Philadelphia Eagles will now play for the right to host the NFC Championship Game. The Washington Commanders will be there for the first time in 33 years. They upset the top-seeded Detroit Lions. The misery continues for a hugely loyal fan base in the Motor City.

This will sound insensitive, but that isn't our problem. Philly has to take care of business. They have their hands full in the Divisional Round vs. the Los Angeles Rams, but let's make that first statement again.

We take great pleasure in saying this.

The Eagles will host their longtime NFC East rivals if they take care of business on Sunday afternoon in the Divisional Round.

First things first. Philly can't ignore the Rams or look past Los Angeles. If they do, their season will end on Sunday, but Philly is favored in the Divisional Round as they should be. They're the better team, and if the weather reports are right, that's a bad omen for Matthew Stafford and the visiting team.

The Eagles are the highest-seeded remaining NFC team alive in the postseason. The road to Super Bowl LIX rolls through the City of Brotherly Love.

Wow... Washington and Philly in the NFC Championship Game.. If you predicted that before the season began, you're in the wrong line of work. You need to move to Las Vegas and start helping the oddsmakers do their job.
