Look at it this way. When you put the bow on a Philadelphia Eagles win that, otherwise, might be remembered as a snoozer, you begin noticing things you otherwise wouldn't. Truthfully, we've seen A.J. Brown carry that book, Inner Excellence, around before, but you know that won't be the takeaway.
If you're looking for a 'bash A.J. Brown' session, look away. You won't find that here. I refuse. If anything, I'll intentionally take the other stance, defending him. If nothing else, I'll do so to irritate some of you.
Must read: Nakobe Dean leaves Wild Card game injured.
There aren't many takeaways from an Eagles win that was tough to watch, but we cam up with three anyway.
If for no other reason than the wrong man was caught on the sideline with a copy, Inner Excellence is going to be mentioned often in Philly this week.
We won't bore you like that Wild Card Round game by telling you about the up-and-down love affair some of the media and fans have with A.J. Brown. For what? What probably won't be mentioned is he has carried that book around for a while now.
Still, following a game where he was only targeted three times and caught one pass, we can expect some negative spins on this. Oh well... At least we all got a nice meme out of this.

Brown addressed the expected question in the locker room.
AJ Brown only had one catch during #Eagles playoff win. But talks about reading a book during the game for positive reinforcement during game. pic.twitter.com/4fq8YCFOpa

A.J. loves his teammates and coaches. They love him. That's good enough for us. We enter exhibits A and B into evidence.

As long as that continues, I refuse to stress about what people think who are outside that locker room. For now, here's my mission. I'm ending this on a high note.
Quinyon Mitchell FINALLY hauls in his first interception.
He's been robbed by C.J. Gardner-Johnson on at least two occasions, but in his first career postseason game, Quinyon Mitchell finally grabbed that first interception.
At long last, we can say this... The 1st of many!

Congratulations to Q on his 1st INT with the #Eagles! pic.twitter.com/rBDoVSXRLJ
Congrats Q! We know more are coming.
As far as housekeeping goes, Philly got the win, and that's all that counts. We'll take time to exhale. Then, we'll dig in to what needs correction.
Let's hope our Birds bounce back with a better performance next week. Sometimes, title runs begin with a tight win that kickstarts things.
