Fletcher Cox issues a stern warning to former NFL RB Le'Veon Bell

Fletch isn't for the games. Le'Veon Bell learned that lesson recently.

Chances are you haven't paid much attention to Le'Veon Bell lately. We can dig it. He isn't that interesting. He has never suited up for the Philadelphia Eagles nor has he ever coached here. We. on the other hand, pay attention to everything, so he's crossed our radar a few times.

He seems interested in dipping his toe in the sports or news media's waters. He appeared at a Donald Trump campaign rally earlier this month. Recently, he set his sights on an Eagles legend.

Did you see that? See how your antennas were raised? Bell was hanging out on X and decided he'd use Cox as a means for furthering his platform.

Let's just say that wasn't a very wise business strategy.

Fletcher Cox annihilates Le'Veon Bell with a somewhat aggressive response.

Social media has its advantages. It's an easy way to keep up with family or reconnect with friends. We all know, however, that isn't the only intention of those who use its platforms.

Trolls... Well, they do what trolls do. Grown men and women insult people unnecessarily and often anonymously. We'll at least credit Bell for putting his real name on something, but he still used poor judgment in trying to embarrass a future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Eagles legend Fletcher Cox.

Cox has since deleted his response. Good for him. There's no need to go back and forth with the trolls, even if those trolls played in the NFL. He made his point. We don't condone violence (or social media beef), but something tells us Bell doesn't really want any smoke.

Bell's resume is impressive. He's a former First-Team All-Pro (2014), a two-time Second-Team All-Pro (2016, 2017), and three-time Pro Bowler (2014, 2016, 2017), but he's also six-foot-one and 225 pounds.

Fletch, the last time we saw him, stood at six-foot-four and tipped the scales at 310 pounds. He's also a former First-team All-Pro (2018), a three-time Second-team All-Pro (2014, 2015, 2017), and a six-time Pro Bowl (2015–2020) who won a Super Bowl.

Cox is also an NFL 2010s All-Decade Team member who was named as part of the Pro Football Writers Association's 2012 All-Rookie Team. Here's what we mean. Le'Veon is out of his weight class, both figuratively and literally.
