The Philadelphia Eagles are off to their worst start in half a decade, but some of their former players seem to be doing a bit better than they are.

Most Eagles free agents from last offseason showed in Week 6 that they are doing pretty well. Not everyone had a great weekend, though, and joined the Eagles in a rough week.

Here is a quick look at how former Eagles players did during Week 6 of the NFL season.

  1. Reed Blankenship left Week 6 Texans-Jaguars game with injury
  2. Jaelan Phillips gets a sack on his old team: the Eagles
  3. Jahan Dotson scores second TD in the last three games for Falcons
  4. Nakobe Dean has a big day, but Raiders lose third straight game

Reed Blankenship left Week 6 Texans-Jaguars game with injury

Blankenship's first season with the Texans has been rocky, with ups and downs. His latest game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London didn't go well, as he finished with five tackles but left early with a concussion.

There's no word on how he is looking for Week 7, but it's a tough break for Blankenship, who was starting to build momentum. That might be stalled for the moment while he recovers from his concussion.

Jaelan Phillips gets a sack on his old team: the Eagles

Phillips got his first shot at facing off against a team that wouldn't give him a massive offseason payday. He finished with two tackles and a half-sack in the win over the Eagles.

Through the first five games of the year, Phillips has 2.5 sacks and is on pace to surpass his total from last year with the Miami Dolphins and the Eagles. With the Eagles' recent pass-rush troubles, maybe a little regret is starting to creep in about not bringing him back.

Jahan Dotson scores second TD in the last three games for Falcons

Dotson has been on a roll with the Falcons lately, posting another solid game in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears. Atlanta lost, but Dotson posted season highs in receptions (five) and yards (87) and added his second touchdown catch of the year (his second in his last three games).

It's becoming clear that Dotson is one of the top targets in this Falcons offense and may be taking over as the team's WR2. Good for him to turn things around after two rough seasons with the Eagles.

Nakobe Dean has a big day, but Raiders lose third straight game

Dean has been a force for this Las Vegas Raiders defense all season. He started the season by creating at least one turnover in each of the first three games. Each one led to a Raiders win.

Since then, though, Las Vegas has lost three straight games, including a Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Dean finished with 12 tackles and one tackle for loss, and in his third straight contest, he didn't turn the ball over. He's playing very well this season, but the Raiders need to break this losing streak soon.
