The dust has settled on the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Philadelphia Eagles once again feel like big winners of it all.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made sure that this draft was all about taking care of the offense by making his first five selections on offense and all three of his seventh-round picks be on defense. The goal was to get the offense in a position to succeed and replace some of the older, more expensive veterans in the near future.
Some are wondering now whether the Eagles nailed all eight of their selections or if they missed. Here's a look back at all their selections and grading how good they were.
Grading every Eagles selection in 2026 NFL Draft
Round 1, Pick 20: Makai Lemon, WR (USC)
Roseman had to make a move to get out in front of the Pittsburgh Steelers, so he made a solid trade to find their replacement for A.J. Brown. While Lemon doesn't have burner speed or is the tallest player, he's the perfect slot receiver Philly has struggled to find, and can make all the catches. This is a great pickup for the Eagles in the first round.
Grade: B+
Round 2, Pick 54: Eli Stowers, TE (Vanderbilt)
A safety could have been taken here, but it became clear that offense was the focus of this draft, so for what was available, the Eagles got a great selection here. Stowers is more athletic than any tight end they have on the roster and might even beat out Dallas Goedert for the starting job in 2026. Philly's got some real speed at tight end and one of the top receiving targets at the position, so a job well done by the Eagles on this pick.
Grade: A-
Round 3, Pick 68: Markel Bell, OT (Miami (FL))
The 6-foot-9 offensive lineman is in Philly and he could end up being a great selection here or a bust. Bell's tape shows the high potential he's got and all the good he can do. He won't start right away and honestly shouldn't be seen as Lane Johnson's eventual success, but is still good enough that the depth on the offensive line improved through the draft.
Grade: B
Round 5, Pick 178: Cole Payton, QB (North Dakota State)
Eagles get another fast and athletic quarterback in the room to be the eventual replacement for Tanner McKee. While he has only had one season of starting experience, Payton is a good developmental quarterback to have and could end up being a pretty good player for the Eagles. In Round 5, he's worth the risk because he can be more than just a quarterback, as he can be an offensive weapon.
Grade: B+
Round 6, Pick 207: Micah Morris, OG (Georgia)
Georgia finally gets some love in the draft and Morris is a solid option for the Eagles. He will make for another solid depth piece for Philly's offensive line and could do some real damage replacing Brett Toth. Don't expect Morris to light up the world, but a good backup for the franchise to have.
Grade: B
Round 7, Pick 244: Cole Wisniewski, S (Texas Tech)
Philly's safety position is a problem, so Wisniewski is a pretty good pickup here. Obviously, he doesn't solve all their problems, but everyone is comparing him to Reed Blankenship. That might be a big compliment while also leaving some pressure on him to perform right away. Eagles fans should just expect him to be a solid special teams player.
Grade: B
Round 7, Pick 251: Uar Bernard, DL (Nigeria (International Player Pathway))
It might be crazy to be high on a player who has never played football, but Bernard's physical ability is too crazy to ignore. The seventh round is all about taking risk and when a guy who is over 300 pounds with 6% body fat is running around a 4.6-second 40-time, that's a selection to just make a figure out later where to put him.
Grade: A+
Round 7, Pick 252: Keyshawn James-Newby, EDGE (New Mexico)
Finally an edge rusher after none being selected, but Jonathan Greenard was traded for, so one wasn't needed. James-Newby feels like a long shot to make the roster with how deep the position is at the moment. He's got good ability, but this pick might have been better suited for another position.

Overall Draft Class
Among the picks that Roseman made, there are about half of the picks that can make a difference right away and the rest could be nice depth pieces. This was a offensive-heavy draft, so time will tell, but on paper, this looks like a really good draft.
Grade: B+
