Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has built quite the roster entering training camp, but there is one key player not there at the moment.
The mystery behind Brandon Graham remains at the moment, as he is currently a free agent after his contract expired during the summer. Graham has said multiple times throughout the offseason that he wants to be back in Philly for 2026. Roseman made his intentions clear to Graham.
"Communication between BG, the Eagles, and me has always been consistent. BG was the first draft pick I ever made as GM," Roseman said via The Athletic's Zach Berman. "Those conversations, obviously between us and every player, we're going to keep between us and the player. I want to be consistent with whoever that is that we do that. But obviously you're talking about one of the greatest Eagles players and an unbelievable person. Last year, his ability to come back in and help us was huge for our football team. But again, those conversations we'll keep private."
Will Eagles fans see Brandon Graham in uniform in 2026?
Graham played in only nine games last season, coming in to help with multiple injuries to the defensive line. He finished the year with eight tackles, three quarterback hits, three sacks, and two tackles for loss.
2025 was a different kind of season for Graham, as Eagles fans saw him play a much different role than in the past. Usually playing defensive end, Graham moved inside at tackle to help with Jalen Carter being out due to shoulder injuries.
That move by Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio paid off, as Graham had a ton of success in the middle. It was more productive than he has been over the years.
The Eagles are loaded on the defensive line, though, so that leaves some big questions about who Graham would replace if he did come back. There's also the question of whether he will be able to play at the level that Eagles fans have seen him play over the last few seasons.

Graham's situation is only going to linger, so Eagles fans will have to wait and see what happens. If he does end up playing this season, though, it might be the final time Eagles fans see him on the field. That will be a storyline worth monitoring and enjoying for the fan base.
