At this juncture, we've probably apologized to Howie Roseman 100 or more times. And, that just includes the number counted since 2020. We remember it well. COVID-19 had confined us to our homes, and all we had to talk about was The Last Dance documentary and what the Philadelphia Eagles might do in a virtual NFL Draft.
Well... We can't tell you what we said when Philly selected Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson. Let's just say it included NSFW language. We liked the Jalen Hurts pick. We just thought it could have been made later (even though we can't prove that), but that's when it hit us.
We may always have a love-hate attitude about Philly's vice president.
We were wrong... So, again, we apologize profusely. Howie isn't just the best general manager in pro football right now. He might be the best who has ever done this job.
He isn't perfect. Some of our criticism of him has been warranted, but best believe, he has done a much better job at doing what he does than we would have done had we been given the same job to do.
Maybe we're too hard on ourselves. Our criticism of Howie hasn't been overwhelming. We've defended him more often than we have complained about his decisions though we may have said once we'd like to hang an effigy.

Eagles GM Howie Roseman compares winning Super Bowls to having sex.
Yes friends... Don't restart your phones. There's no need to refresh the browser. This isn't a drill. You read the headline accurately. Howie Roseman sat for an interview recently, and yes, he compared winning the Super Bowl to having sex.

Call us crazy, but that might be the most poignant and fantastic parallel we've ever seen drawn. As a platform that has made its living by creating clever ways to express ourselves, we won't lie. We wish we thought about that one before Howie did.
So, here we sit, we're unconditionally in love with our football team and thankful it's led by Jeffrey Lurie and the VP/GM Howie Roseman. We've gone from wondering if our Birds would ever win a Super Bowl to now seeing them win two and we're thankful.
Howie Roseman deserves every accolade and all the credit he is given. He is a legend and future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee.
Our doubts have evaporated. Our loyalty is unshakeable. You will never hear us second-guess another decision we hear him make.
