The Philadelphia Eagles all of a sudden have more injury concerns with two new players being added to the injury report.
Most of the report was the same as the first, with rookie offensive lineman Cameron Williams removed after he was activated from the IR. Linebacker Nakobe Dean (hamstring), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), right tackle Lane Johnson (foot), and Jaelan Phillips (ankle) all missed practice for the second straight day, with rookie linebacker Jihaad Campbell (back/shoulder) being upgraded to a full participant.
There were two new additions to the report: defensive tackle Jalen Carter did not practice due to a hip injury. After the team announced the injury report, safety Marcus Epps was added as he suffered a concussion and is now in concussion protocol.
Two new defenders added to the injury report for Eagles
This week, any injuries that pop up are less of a concern, since the Eagles will be resting their starters against the Washington Commanders. Still, this is two starters with Epps and Carter now not practicing, which is not ideal.
Carter is back on the injury report again as he has now dealt with a heel, shoulders, and now a hip injury this season, so he is much needed for some rest in Week 18. Epps is replacing rookie Andrew Mukuba after Philly's second-round pick broke his ankle and is currently on IR.
The other injuries are not as big a deal for now, as Dean sat out in the 13-12 win over the Buffalo Bills, and Johnson has missed over a month of football. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said that Johnson is making good progress and working hard to get there.

Again, there's no reason to overreact to the injury report yet, but the new injuries will be a concern going into the playoffs next week.
