When you get older, your paradigm changes (or, at least, it should). Some of us mature faster than others, but at some point, life is supposed to become less about parties and immature values and shift more towards things like building a legacy, leaving a mark, and starting a family. We'll let you argue among yourselves about whether the light bulbs turned on when they should have, but here's where we can agree. Some of us could have benefited from being as mature as Jalen Hurts is when we were still in our mid-twenties.
QB1 of the Philadelphia Eagles is, thankfully, one of the more wholesome guys you can find in the public eye. He's nice-looking, successful, hard-working, and well-spoken. He doesn't get arrested, and his best years are still ahead of him.
We've never asked him this, but we're pretty sure he's proud of the resume he's building. Think about it. Most prep stars dream of playing Division 1 ball at one of the NCAA's premier programs. Jalen did that twice. Then, he landed in Philly with the Birds and won a Super Bowl. Now, he has his heart set on accomplishing a few goals that have nothing to do with playing football.
Jalen Hurts announces he has gotten married.
Remember when you were a kid and everyone told you the American dream was to get married and buy a house with a white picket fence? QB1 must have listened. He announced via Men's Health that he has gotten married.
Jalen also mentioned that he has no desire to be the face of the National Football League even though it appears that he is seemingly already headed in that direction.
That's okay. Sometimes, destiny takes us down paths we wouldn't have chosen for ourselves. The NFL needs its great personalities, and Jalen is one of those guys 'The Shield' can truly benefit from featuring. That is, however, another story for another day. Today is all about the most recent Super Bowl MVP's legacy and story.
We've been treated to a fairy tale already, one that is still being written. Now, he's writing a fairy tale of a different sort. He has found his queen, giving birth to a 'happily ever after' in the making.
