All week, it's been about the report that the Philadelphia Eagles players and coaches were frustrated with quarterback Jalen Hurts' play on the field. Hurts heard all that and used it as motivation.
In the Eagles' red-hot start to their Week 12 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, Hurts made some great passes and exploded onto the scene. His biggest play was a beautiful 41-yard completion to DeVonta Smith.
Hurts finished the half, completing 13 of 19 passes for 164 yards and one touchdown. He also had three rushes for 12 yards and otwo touchdowns to give the Eagles a multi-touchdown lead.
Just 30 minutes in and Hurts looks great to start the game
Everything that has been questioned about Hurts is not being shown in the game. When he got criticism for his play, Hurts answered the call.
He is making all the throws, from short routes to long bombs, to his receivers. There weren't many misses from him in the first half.
His mobility has been in good use, and his one rushing score wasn't from the Tush Push, but he still got one from it. One was from a designed QB draw for a touchdown in the red zone.
It was good to see Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo push the ball downfield and throw the football. Most times on third down and long, it would end in a surrender running back draw. This time, Hurts was able to throw the football and show off his arm and accuracy.

There is still time in the game for it to turn for the worse, but the Eagles are off to a strong start, and Hurts is a big reason for it. The momentum will hopefully be carried into the second half and lead to a much-needed win.
