What a year this has been for our Philadelphia Eagles. The first game was in Brazil for goodness' sake. Philly couldn't score in the first quarter for a while. Remember that? We began hearing those concerns again about whether or not Jalen Hurts was the guy to lead this team.
There was the Nick Sirianni angle... Some of you wanted him fired at the beginning of the season. Heck, some of you wanted him fired before the season. His bosses took responsibility from him. Even now, we aren't certain about what a CEO coach is and what he does.
How do you feel about Nick now though?
Philadelphia won Super Bowl LIX, and they embarrassed Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Then, the Jordan brand delivered with the best commercial of the night (and maybe the best one they have done in while).
Jordan salutes Jalen Hurts with what turned out to be the best commercial we saw on Super Bowl Sunday.
There's nothing to complain about in terms of Jalen Hurts' night... Nothing... The only bad news we can report is he'll be fined for wearing some cleats that violated the NFL's dress code.
That's okay though. Every once in a while, he shows us this renegade personality (and, we like it).
We're hoping you didn't turn the TV off after Philly hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Philly saved their best for last, and so did the Jordan advertising team.
Watch this if you missed it live. Heck... Watch it if you saw it live.
Maybe we're emotional, but this feels like the greatest thing we've seen since the Marvel Avengers: Endgame movie.
We'll never forget Super Bowl LIX or the events that occurred. Kendrick Lamar's performance... Lady Gaga's emotional song... Cooper DeJean's pick-six... And, how about that rainbow off the arm of Jalen Hurts that landed in DeVonta Smith's arms?
The commercials weren't up to par this year though. Everyone tried to be so creative that they, more often than not, missed the mark. Jordan hit the bullseye though. This was a nice tribute to Jalen Hurts and the adversity that he has overcome!
