Okay, it's Super Bowl Week, and the Philadelphia Eagles are in the big game. I feel like being honest. I can share something with you guys and be truthful, right?
I thought the most entertaining that Jameis Winston could be as an NFL quarterback was when he threw 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season. I'm not going to lie to you, I couldn't wait to see him throw that 30th pick so I could celebrate this unusual moment.
Call me a pessimist. I can live with that, but let me tell you something. I was wrong about Jameis Winston. I'd have absolutely no issues with Philly bringing him in as a backup.
Now, that probably won't happen, but after watching Jameis on Hard Knocks: In Season With the AFC North, I learned I was a fan of Jameis. I respect the way he represented himself as a leader and a teammate.
Jameis Winston shares 'W' cookies with A.J. Brown and throws an alley-oop pass for a Saquon Barkley troll session.
Ask around and you won't find any of Jameis Winston's former teammates who don't still love him. He's a likable guy and entertaining. Look no further than his Super Bowl Media Night appearance.
Jameis tossed 'W' cookies to A.J. Brown and Jordan Mailata. He set up the perfect shade opportunity for Saquon Barkley.
Jameis really gave AJ Brown a 'W' cookie 😂

Yep. That was so much more entertaining than the 30 TD-30 INT season. His time as a starter in the NFL might be over, but again, if Kenny Pickett moves on and the Birds need a backup, we wouldn't have any issue with him being signed to the roster.
