Philadelphia Eagles fans can always trust former center Jason Kelce to have some hilarious story to tell.

After the Eagles made a trade with the Miami Dolphins to acquire edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, Kelce's podcast "New Heights" shared a clip of Jason and Travis talking about a moment when the Eagles and Dolphins shared a joint practice. There was some trash-talking going on between Jason Kelce and the Dolphins, but Phillips wasn't having any of it.

"(Christian) Wilkins was talking trash just in the practice. So, he was talking trash and then I started yapping at him, which pretty big party foul by me because I wasn't able to practice."

"So, I'm over here yelling and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Jaelan Phillips says, 'Shut up, eyebrows. You ain't even practicing.' And I was like, 'Dude, this mother****** just called me eyebrows?' Like I can't even come back from that."

Phillips showing he's going to be a good fit for the Eagles

Eagles fans know how much of a trash talker the team has, including Brandon Graham, so it appears that Phillips is bringing some of that swagger to Philly. He's had a stellar run with the Dolphins over the last four and a half years, racking up 26 sacks, 61 quarterback hits, and 28 tackles for loss in 55 games.

It helps that Phillips knows defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's defensive scheme, having worked together in Miami back in 2023. The Eagles will have Phillips in the starting lineup with Jalyx Hunt, for now, until Nolan Smith Jr. moves off the IR and returns to the field.

Jason Kelce will be able to relive that story with Phillips when the two are in Lambeau Field together for the Eagles' Week 10 showdown against the Green Bay Packers.
