There have been some clever ways to prepare for a football game that some might not have thought of, but the Philadelphia Eagles thought outside the box on their upcoming matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Many have talked about the potential heat the Eagles could be facing when they get to Tampa, as it could be a hot day. The game could be at 91 degrees with a humidity of 69%.

Former Eagles legend Jason Kelce shared how he hated playing in the heat when he was a player. The Eagles have always been more accustomed to playing in the cold.

They might have a perfect strategy to make sure they are ready to take on the Florida heat.

Jordan Davis spills the beans on what the Eagles are doing to prepare for hot weather

While speaking to the media on Thursday, Eagles' emerging star defensive tackle Jordan Davis shared with the press what the team is doing to prepare for the heat on Sunday. It's as simple as taking the advice of the coaching staff and sitting in their sauna.

"It was a suggestion from the coaching staff. I think all the players just kind of take it in there. I'm sure if you go in there, we're all in there freestyling. We having fun, you know just sitting in the heat. Got a couple of guys adding ice, adding water, swirling the fan in there. It's gets pretty hot in there."

This is, in my opinion, the best way to prepare for the heat. The players can sit in the stands and get used to sweating a lot. Davis added that there were usually about 15 players at a time, all sitting together.

It will take more than some relaxing sauna time to get the Eagles to pick up a critical win over the Buccaneers on Sunday, but hey, it's not a bad way to prepare for a game.
