Latest Brandon Graham injury update spoils historic night for Eagles pass rusher

Why are we bringing this up? That moved the legend to the third-highest total in franchise history. He surpasses the great Clyde Simmons.

Graham now sits behind Trent Cole (85.5) and Reggie White (124). Unfortunately, there is bad news that we must report.

Sadly, Brandon Graham exited the game early with a torn tricep. He later told media members his season was over.

Before leaving the sideline to enter the locker room, he was embraced by teammates, including quarterback Jalen Hurts with whom he shared a lengthy conversation.

As you know, at 36 years old and with 15 seasons under his belt, this was supposed to be his swan song. He is the longest-tenured athlete in Eagles history. Sunday night was his 206th regular-season game. He has played in another 11 during the postseason.

Following Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox's retirement last season, Graham announced he would give it one more go. His legacy is sealed thanks partly to his strip-sack in Super Bowl LII against Tom Brady.

He ends this season having collected 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Only time will tell if we have seen him in an Eagles jersey for the final time.
