Everyone is scrambling for answers on what is going on with the Philadelphia Eagles after their three-game losing streak has them in a bit of a hole.
The loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14 exposed bigger problems with the offense, and now Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is starting to really struggle with turnovers. There have been inconsistencies with the offensive line's health, and the running game has rarely found any footing. Of course, Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo gets a lot of the blame for his predictable and questionable play-calling.
FOX broadcaster and former three-time NFL Pro Bowl running back Mark Ingram has another theory on who is to blame, though. Ingram is looking at the star receiver who has been so vocal this year about the offensive problems.
"A.J. Brown was tripping for six, seven, eight straight weeks, and they was winning. Now he getting fed, and they losing. So you just got to go with what the defense gives you and not try to make one person happy all of the time."
Fair or foul to pin it on Brown?
The facts don't lie about the offense over the last three games. Brown has had three straight 100-yard games, and the Eagles have lost all three games.
Now, that shouldn't be on Brown as he is doing his part. That should be more on Patullo and Hurts for trying to force-feed Brown the ball when everyone in the world knows that the Eagles are better on offense when they are balanced between the run and pass.
This shouldn't exonerate Brown of all blame, though, as he should be responsible for some of the issues. He had three awful drops in the loss to the Chargers, with two that might have been touchdowns. He also has had three penalties during the three-game losing streak called on him, including two false starts and one offensive pass interference.

Philly has a lot of problems, and their mantra has been not to place blame on one person. The truth is that everyone on the team has struggled, and they all need to figure out how to turn this around and be ready with some momentum going into the postseason.
