RELATED: It took just one drive for refs to screw Eagles with controversial penalty
The Eagles may be without one of their better offensive starters for the rest of Super Bowl 59, after starting right guard Mekhi Becton left the game on Sunday night with a knee injury. Television cameras caught him trying to work out the injury on the Eagles' sideline during the second quarter, and then team announced on X that he'd be question able to return with said knee injury.
Mekhi Becton's Super Bowl may already be over after suffering knee injury

Losing Becton would obviously be a huge blow to an Eagles' offensive line that, through at least one quarter of the Super Bowl, was playing as well as any group on the field. This season. Becton played over 900 (903) snaps at right guard, and finished the season ranked as the 21st best guard by Pro Football Focus. This season, he set career-highs in PFF overall grade and run blocking grade. In his first season with the Eagles – after spending the first three years with the Jets – Becton started all 15 games he appeared in.
UPDATE – 7:55 PM EST
Becton returned to the game with about five minutes left in the second quarter.
