Despite this team winning 11 games a season ago, the Philadelphia Eagles have positions they need to fill heading into the 2026 campaign.

The Eagles still have to find an offensive tackle, edge rusher, wide receiver, and safety to ensure they have the talent to develop. FanSided's NFL Mocks website writer Ian Harper shared his seven-round Eagles mock draft, where he has the team starting with Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor as their first-round pick.

"Taking Iheanachor in the first round of this mock draft hints at a pattern that has been heavily established in recent years: Philadelphia's affinity toward filling their draft class with players they hosted on Top-30 visits. The Arizona State offensive tackle, who's set to visit the Eagles in the pre-draft process, won't be asked to carry a large load as a rookie. His athletic foundation is impressive, and he's a developmental project with a ceiling that, if new offensive line coach Chris Kuper can unlock it, will allow him to anchor the right side of their line for the foreseeable future."

Eagles go offensive tackle in seven-round mock draft

More mock drafts are leaning towards the Eagles getting an offensive tackle in the first round as an eventual replacement for Lane Johnson at right tackle. Plus, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has always started building his roster up front with young talent on the offensive and defensive lines. It helps that Iheanachor has already met with the team, so they could very well be targeting him in the first round.

Here is how the rest of the rounds went with Harper's prediction for the Eagles in the draft:

  • Round 2, Pick 54: Ted Hurst, WR, Georgia State
  • Round 3, Pick 68: Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State
  • Round 3, Pick 98: Zakee Wheatley, S, Penn State
  • Round 4, Pick 114: Markel Bell, OT, Miami (FL)
  • Round 4, Pick 137: Hezekiah Masses, CB, Cal
  • Round 5, Pick 153: Anthony Lucas, EDGE, USC
  • Round 5, Pick 178: Nate Boerkircher, TE, Texas A&M
  • Round 6, Pick 197: Jalen Huskey, S, Maryland

Hurst is getting a lot of buzz as a small school receiver who could be a star in the NFL. His name has been connected to the Eagles as a potential replacement for A.J. Brown, who is poised to be traded after June 1.

Dennis-Sutton is a solid selection in the third round, as that will help the Eagles give them the edge rusher to replace Jaelan Phillips, who is now with the Carolina Panthers. While Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith Jr. would still be the starters, Dennis-Sutton would have a little bit of time to develop while being in the rotation.

With the pick selection the Eagles have in this draft, if this mock draft comes out to be close to reality, this would be a solid haul for them and plenty of guys who could start and play from Day 1.
