Things are heating up! The Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions are hot. The New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers are not. Eleven games are gone in Philly's season. Six remain.

They have established themselves as one of the NFL's true contenders. There's still work to do. Another test comes on Sunday, and it's a tough one.

They travel to visit the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Now, there's one stadium they won't be taking over. We expect to see green jerseys peppered through the crowd though.

Here's what the NFL playoff bracket would look like if the postseason began today.

These days, we're so football-obsessed that we begin keeping track of what the NFL Playoff picture might look like after the first month of the season, if not earlier. But, with six weeks remaining, teams are beginning to craft identities and postseason prognostication seems to be an easier task now.

Here's how the bracket would look if the postseason began today.

The Lions have notched an impressive 10-1 record. Philly is nipping at their heels though with a mark of 9-2. There's still a ton of football left to be played.

There's a chance that the Birds could overtake the Lions and secure the top seed in the National Football Conference for themselves. Think about that. The road to Super Bowl LIX in the NFC would travel through Lincoln Financial Field.

Sign us up for that show, but as mentioned, that task must still be accomplished. As it stands now, if the regular season were to end today, the Birds would host the division-rival Washington Commanders in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs.

That one would be an interesting watch. The Commanders are reeling, but as you know, more often than not, these two play each other very closely.
