Nick Sirianni echoed everything Howie Roseman said about Eagles' A.J. Brown

Yep same messaging and everything.

It just wouldn't be a normal day for the Philadelphia Eagles' offense if there wasn't a question about wide receiver A.J. Brown and potentially being traded.

At the NFL league meetings, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was the first to address the Brown situation and say that he's an Eagle. Head coach Nick Siranni just got his turn to talk about the subject and was pretty much on par with what Roseman said.

"Yeah, nothing's changed there. A.J. is an Eagle,"Sirianni said via WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks. "Nothing's changed from the last time I spoke to you guys. Yeah, that's where we are."

The tone is the same as Sirianni and Roseman are both technically correct that Brown is an Eagle. There have not been any trades or releases, so for the time being, Brown will remain in Philly.

No one is really buying that this is going to last much longer with Brown being on the Eagles. If the Eagles really wanted him, Sirianni and Roseman would have both shut down the narrative and said that Brown is not going to get traded.

Instead, their non-answer answer is now more of a subject of conversation. The Eagles are no doubt considering a trade with Brown if they can get the right offer for him.

In terms of who is involved in the race for Brown, the New England Patriots seem to be the top team and the only ones actually in the conversation. There have been calls from both the Los Angeles teams and the Baltimore Ravens, but none are as close to getting a deal done as the Patriots are.

This will continue to be a conversation for the next two months, so Eagles fans better get used to it.
