It was a rough day for Philadelphia Eagles fans on Black Friday, as even a successful shopping run for great deals couldn't erase the memory of their team losing to the Chicago Bears 24-15.

The two big storylines of the game were the first: the defense of Philly, which allowed a staggering 281 yards to the Bears' run game. In line with the season's trend, the Eagles' offense struggled as well, totaling 317 yards and two soul-crushing turnovers.

After the game, when asked about why the offense is struggling, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni gave what fans would conceive as a baffling answer.

“I wish I could tell you this is exactly what it is, and this is hard. It’s not easy to be successful, stay successful, so we have to, again, do it collectively. We have to do it collectively as a unit. Obviously, if I knew exactly what it was and everything that it was, then we’d have fixed it. But right now, we’re still searching and we’re still looking, and (there’s) a lot of football left to play.”

Three months later and no specific reason for the struggles of the Eagles' offense?

Eagles fans are not going to be happy with the answer to that question. Especially since they already know who the problem is: offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.

From his predictable play-calling to his inability to find a rhythm during games, Patullo is struggling mightily. He can't find the solutions himself after three months of football, which is a massive problem.

For the head coach to also not have a solution, this might be the most concerning comment Sirianni has made this season. There could be an argument that he doesn't want to change the play caller for the offense, but this is worse.

It's honestly not that hard. The offensive line is struggling, the play calling is too easy to read from a defensive standpoint, and Tank Bigsby is nonexistent in an offense that has seen him rush for over nine yards a carry.

There's no excuse for the head coach to not have an answer on why his offense is struggling when the fan base and football analyst can tell him what the problem is. Sirianni and his Eagles need to do some soul-searching during this mini bye week to find a solution to the problem and get ready to beat the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14.
