Nick Sirianni says what Eagles fans feel about Tush Push chatter nonsense

The media can't help but talk about the Tush Push, as it has been a constant topic of conversation.

It was magnified after the Philadelphia Eagles' 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, and a clip from that game showed two Eagles players with false starts on the play not called. This caused some from the media, like Dean Blandino and Adam Schefter, to go on TV and complain about the play.

The conversation has been never-ending with people complaining about a call that the referees missed, not something the Eagles did. Those in the media forget the NFL had a chance to ban the play in May, and not enough votes were tallied for banning it. The play lives on.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had to once again address the Tush Push with the media. Sirianni isn't worried about the chances that it could be banned in the offseason.

"We don’t have to deal with that right now. We got enough things that we got to deal with now. And so, obviously, you’re always working to improve the play, you’re always working through different things to complement it. You’re always working through different things if you don’t have it. Right now, we do and that was that. I try to only control the things I can control, not anything that’s not in my control."

Eagles keeping the focus on 2025

The message has been clear all offseason for Sirianni: that the 2025 season is the only focus. He doesn't care about what happened last season or what might come this offseason. His primary objective is to find a way to beat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.

It almost feels as though Sirianni and company are ready to move on from the Tush Push topic. Everyone knows this will be brought up again in the offseason, so why does that matter now?

As long as the play is not banned from being used, the Eagles are going to use it. The play is not 100% foolproof, but it will get them to where they need to be when they need just one yard.

The media needs to move on from this topic and accept the fact that the Eagles will run it as much as they want. For Sirianni, it's about improving that play and others so they can keep their 2-0 season going in the right direction.
