As the 2025 season comes to an end for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the playoffs go into their second round, ESPN came out with its rankings for the 2025 NFL Draft Class.
For the Eagles, their 2025 class got off to a fast start. Towards the end of the season, they saw less of an impact, especially when Andrew Mukuba went down with an injury. ESPN believes that the Eagles' draft class from this season ranks as the 18th-best in the NFL so far.
Eagles draft class gets average ranking
The Eagles have relied heavily on Andrew Mukuba and Jihaad Campbell for the most output of the 2025 season, with Campbell starting 10 games (17 appearances) and Mukuba starting 10 games (11 appearances) before an injury ended the promising safety's season. Both high-round draft picks showcased enough on the field to garner consideration for defensive rookie of the year honors at some point as well. Campbell finished the year with 80 tackles, while Mukuba registered two interceptions along with 46 tackles.
Outside of Mukuba and Campbell, the Eagles' back-end draft picks contributed sporadically throughout the season. Fourth-round defensive tackle Ty Robinson had moments during the 2025 season; however, he didn't provide a day-one spark that some thought he would behind a glut of interior defensive talent. Drew Kendall, a fifth-round center, showed plenty of promise in limited opportunities, including his Week 18 start against the Washington Commanders.
One of the more underrated pieces was Smael Mondon Jr., a fifth-round linebacker who contributed plenty as a niche special teams player, providing value for Philadelphia in that role. The Eagles also saw potential in sxith-round draft pick Cameron Williams, who played over 50 snaps in week 18 as well.
One of the more disappointing draft picks this season was fifth-round draft pick Mac McWilliams, who couldn't make an impact in 2025. A cornerback, McWilliams failed to make any appearances in 2025 despite the injuries and ineffective play by Kelee Ringo, Jakorian Bennett, and Adoree' Jackson, so much so that undrafted free agent Brandon Johnson took reps in the secondary.
Other draft picks like sixth-round quarterback Kyle McCord, sixth-round offensive lineman Myles Hinton, and sixth-round EDGE Antwuan Powell-Ryland all spent time on the practice squad, injured reserve, or were released. Though not a member of the draft class, it is worth noting that undrafted free agent wide receiver Darius Cooper became a key piece on the offense as the season continued.

While the 2025 draft class wasn't overwhelmingly productive, it has provided plenty of depth and future upside. With the Eagles' season now over, the team moves towards the offseason to reload for 2026.
