There has not been a more dominant team in the NFL since 2017 than the Philadelphia Eagles, who have made three Super Bowl appearances and won two in that span.
Coming off a Super Bowl title last year, the Eagles failed to make it back there after going 11-6 on the season and losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card round. San Francisco would go on to lose to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
With the 2025 season in the rearview mirror for the Eagles, many are looking at them as legitimate contenders to dethrone the Seahawks and win the Super Bowl. NFL.com's Dan Parr has the Eagles ranked fourth on his list of teams with the best shot to do it.
"Philly gets to host Seattle on a short week (Saturday game) in mid-December, which might give Nick Sirianni and Co. an edge in a game that figures to be pivotal in determining playoff positioning. No team has won more games than the Eagles since the start of the 2022 season. They’ve earned a spot in this conversation."
Eagles have a shot to take down the Seahawks and reclaim the Super Bowl
Since 2021, the Eagles have maintained a winning record and made the playoffs in each season under Sirianni as head coach. It's been four straight seasons where the Eagles have finished with 11 or more wins in the regular season.
The Eagles have improved their roster over the offseason to make them more competitive against the Seahawks. Additions like Riq Woolen, Jonathan Greenard, Makai Lemon, and Eli Stowers are helping this team build for the franchise's future.
One thing that should be more encouraging than anything is the changes made to the offense with Sean Mannion taking over as the offensive coordinator and bringing a whole new scheme to the unit. So far, it has worked out well between Mannion and quarterback Jalen Hurts, as the signal-caller looked solid at OTAs this week.

The Eagles will be in the running to win the Super Bowl, like usual, because of the team that general manager Howie Roseman has built. Their recent success in the regular season and playoffs is more than enough reason to believe the Eagles should be in the conversation to win it all.
