With NFL teams currently reorganizing their draft boards as the NFL Combine is in full swing, the Philadelphia Eagles are looking ahead to future talent. Teams are currently scouting, evaluating, and interviewing their top prospects in hopes of strengthening their team for a Super Bowl run in 2026.

With the combine currently going on, Pro Football Focus writer Bradley Locker broke down the perfect scenario for each team's first three rounds in the 2026 NFL Draft. Locker believes that the Eagles draft Clemson edge rusher T.J. Parker, Arizona State cornerback Keith Abney II, USC safety Kamari Ramsey, and NC State tight end Justin Joly.

Eagles were given perfect draft haul for 2026 NFL Draft

The Eagles seem committed to getting younger on the defensive side of the ball, with plenty of talent that is either coming up on rookie deals or due for massive extensions. General manager Howie Roseman has always had an eye for adding talent in the "trenches". In addition to the possible departure of Jaelan Phillips (in which Parker would be his replacement), the Eagles are currently predicted to take a high-level cornerback.

Last season, the Eagles utilized Jakorian Bennett, Kelee Ringo, Adoree' Jackson, and Michael Carter II to play opposite All-Pros Quinyon Mitchell or Cooper DeJean. In the 2026 NFL draft, PFF believes that bringing in Keith Abney would fit well in Vic Fangio's scheme due to his high grade as a zone defender. The Eagles are also dealing with the possibility of losing Reed Blankenship, which could make Kamari Ramsey's 77.0 coverage grade an upgrade.

One of the most glaring needs for Philadelphia on offense is tight end. While the jury is still out on Dallas Goedert, the Eagles are still possibly losing Grant Calcaterra, whose rookie deal has expired.

While Goedert did amass 11 receiving touchdowns, many of those came on shovel passes, rather than stretching the field through the seam. Whether it was a scheme issue or a Goedert regression, the fact remains that the former second-round pick is now north of 30, and the team should be looking for his replacement. Bringing in Joly as a mid-round pick could continue the 20-plus years of dominance that the Eagles have built at the tight end position.

With free agency and several more days of combine evaluations, the Eagles' draft board and draft needs could easily change. With several positions of need, Philadelphia will be looking for high-impact players immediately to remain a Super Bowl contender in 2026.
