Love to hear it!

As the days near closer to the kickoff of the NFC Wild Card game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers, the energy level is starting to change for Philly.

While covering the Eagles, a lot of beat reporters started noticing the same thing about the locker room: it was loud and fun. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley made a comment about the energy of the locker room.

"Can you hear?" Barkley said via The Athletic's Zach Berman. "I think the vibes are great."

That didn't end there, as 94 WIP Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks made his own observations with a great little twist to it.

"It’s an extremely loose and loud Eagles locker room. Players hanging out at each other's locker. One of the loudest locker rooms I’ve been in just from players talking to each other. A.J. Brown is leading it."

A.J. Brown leading the charge for Eagles' energy level

This all stems back to the message that Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has been preaching all season: joy. Sirianni wants his players to feel joy and love what they do so that they don't get driven to the ground by the outside noise that comes from Philly fans and media.

It appears as though some might have believed Brown isn't the biggest fan of Sirianni, that he is taking his coach's message to heart. Everyone thinks Brown is angry and doesn't want to be in Philly, but everything that he has shown is the opposite.

From passionately calling out the team multiple times to his cryptic posts, all Brown has shown is the kind of intensity and focus that fans in Philadelphia want to see from their players. Brown has continued to be a leader in the locker room, and by making it a fun place to hang out, he has shown more than he ever has all season.

Some might misread this as a team that is cocky and arrogant about how they feel a win against the 49ers is coming. That couldn't be further from the truth, as this team is focused and excited to be in its position.
