The 2026 NFL Draft is not going to have anything short of talented players for the Philadelphia Eagles to pick from.

They are going to have their choice of some starting-caliber talent that'll help the franchise move into the future with Eagles general manager Howie Roseman's youth movement. Philly could focus on figuring out what to do in the secondary, as they are still trying to find a replacement for Reed Blankenship, who departed for the Houston Texans.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport might have shed some light on a potential target, as the Eagles are one of three teams that will be visiting with Arizona defensive back Treydan Stukes. Last season, Stukes was a second-team All-American and first-team All-Big 12 selection after 52 tackles, six pass deflections, four interceptions, and one sack.

Could Treydan Stukes be the next great Eagles defensive back?

Currently, Marcus Epps is set to be one of the starting safeties alongside Andrew Mukuba. When Mukuba broke his ankle last year, Epps did a great job filling in at safety, but the veteran is not a long-term solution.

Stukes is versatile and speedy, as evidenced by his 4.33 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. His playmaking ability gives the Eagles a guy who can create turnovers on the fly, something they'll be missing with Blankenship out of the picture.

The Eagles' secondary is already set with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean at the corners, and Riq Woolen will be the CB2, but those guys are more shutdown corners than turnover machines. Stukes brings a different level of playmaking to the secondary that the 2026 team needs.

Roseman has to get his Eagles roster to be younger and more athletic and that's exactly what Stukes can do there in Philly.
