The Philadelphia Eagles stuck to their guns and have made multiple starters inactive for their Week 18 game against the Washington Commanders.
Seven players were listed as inactive for the game as seven of them were on the injury report. Landon Dickerson was added to the inactive list as he has been banged up all year, but has battled through multiple injuries.
Here is the full look at every player inactive for the Eagles in Week 18:
- Nakobe Dean, LB
- Marcus Epps, S
- Jaelan Phillips, EDGE
- Lane Johnson, RT
- Landon Dickerson, OL
- Dallas Goedert, TE
- Jalen Carter, DT
Eagles won't have multiple starters for Commanders game
This is just a small taste of who won't play in the game, as most starters will not take the field. There are more that won't be on the field, including Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and many more.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni decided to rest the starters earlier in the week to protect them from getting hurt. They will be getting some rest before they play in the playoffs, a move Sirianni has made four out of the five years he's been the head coach.
Philly still has a chance to land the number two seed in the NFC playoffs, but it needs to win and have the Chicago Bears lose to the Detroit Lions to earn it. Otherwise, the Eagles will stay put at the number three seed, which seems to be something Sirianni doesn't care about at this point in the season.

Despite the starters being left on the sidelines, there are plenty of Eagles players to watch, like Tanner McKee, who could completely change the offseason for the team. Philly still has a lot to play for in this Commanders game.
