After the completion of the first preseason game (or whatever that was) of the Philadelphia Eagles, there are now even more questions about the roster than ever.

The Eagles got blown out by the Baltimore Ravens 24-7, raising concerns about the team overall. Philly's offense managed only 159 yards, and the backup cornerbacks were exposed, raising questions about depth at the position.

This will leave everyone wondering who will make the 53-man roster after what fans saw on the field. Here's a look at the latest 53-man roster projection after the first preseason game.

Philadelphia Eagles' 53-man roster projection after preseason opening loss

QB - Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Cole Payton

There's a feeling that some kind of change is going to come at quarterback, and McKee and Andy Dalton are not both going to be on the team. One of them is going to be traded at the end of training camp. Payton played well enough in the preseason game to earn his spot on the roster.

RB - Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley

Shipley doesn't really appear to have any competition at RB3, even with Dameon Pierce being there. This is starting to look more and more like the three backs that will represent the Eagles in Week 1.

WR - DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore, Darius Cooper

Cooper may not have had the kind of explosive game Eagles fans wanted, but he still should be on the 53-man roster. Moore has done enough as well to make an argument for the Eagles to carry six wide receivers for the moment, based on his chemistry with Hurts.

TE - Dallas Goedert, Johnny Mundt, Eli Stowers

Mundt not playing in the preseason game against Baltimore was telling: he will be on the roster no matter what. Stowers had a decent showing in his debut, but he has a long way to go to earn that TE2 spot or be the future tight end of this team.

OL - Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen, Lane Johnson, Fred Johnson, Markel Bell, Micah Morris, Drew Kendall, Willie Lampkin

Lampkin and Bell were two standouts from the offensive line who played well. Overall, the unit did a really good job in pass protection during the game, so it will make it tougher to decide who to keep on the roster.

DL - Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Byron Young, Ty Robinson, Uar Bernard

Bernard sometimes played too high with his shoulder pads, but he shows good potential to stay on the team. Robinson had a great game against the Ravens and should be secure in his roster spot.

EDGE - Jonathan Greenard, Jalyx Hunt, Nolan Smith Jr., Arnold Ebiketie, AJ Epenesa

All the usual suspects should be able to make the roster easily. The question is whether they let Joshua Weru and rookie seventh-round pick Keyshawn James-Newby on the team. They could end up on the practice squad.

LB - Zack Baun, Jihaad Campbell, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Smael Mondon Jr., Deontae Lawson

Chance Campbell and Lawson are going to battle for that last roster spot at linebacker. While Vic Fangio has talked up Campbell, Lawson stood out in the preseason game so that he might have the edge.

CB - Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Riq Woolen, Jonathan Jones, Kelee Ringo

As much as Ringo did not play well, his interception in the second quarter might keep him on the roster for the time being. Jakorian Bennett got hurt in the preseason game, and Mac McWilliams got exposed by that Ravens wide receiver group.

S - Andrew Mukuba, Michael Carter II, Marcus Epps, J.T. Gray

The core safeties are mostly in place for the Eagles. One question is who will start at second: Carter or Epps.

Special Teams - Jake Elliott (K), Braden Mann (P), Rocco Underwood (LS)

This should remain untouched for the rest of training camp and preseason. If a new name on there, it means one of the three has likely played poorly.
