10 Cowboys the Eagles must keep under wraps: Some are sneaky and some are obvious

The Philadelphia Eagles have their hands full in Week 9 versus a pesky division rival, the Dallas Cowboys.

For the past three NFL seasons, we have believed the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys were the two best teams in the NFC East. That theory has proven to be true time and time again. In 2023, they have distanced themselves from the hated New York Giants and Washington Commanders, and in Week 9, the Birds host the guys from Texas.

Philly last beat Dallas in Arlington in 2017. The last time they beat a Dak Prescott-led Cowboys team was 2019. We'll see if the Birds can do something about that first nugget later in the regular season, but they can make a statement about the first on Sunday. Dak will indeed suit up as the Cowboys' starter in Week 9.

Much is on the line. There's plenty of football left to play, but the result of this game will have some bearing on postseason positioning down the road.

A win improves the Eagles' win-loss total to 8-1 and would give them tremendous momentum as they enter a Week 10 bye. Heaven knows this team could use a break to try and get healthier.
