21 NCAA standouts who are locks for the Eagles draft board post Senior Bowl
Tykee Smith, defensive back, Georgia Bulldogs
Splash plays never hurt in a game like the Senior Bowl, and Tykee Smith made a few. The most notable was a pass breakup on a deep pass at the end of the first quarter. He also stacked two more PBUs and a tackle for loss.
His teammate Kamari Lassiter is the better player. There may be something here with Smith though.
Jarvis Brownlee, defensive back, Louisville Cardinals
Jarvis Brownlee made a name for himself as well. He snagged a first-half interception which was a nice capper to a strong week of practice.
Evan Williams, defensive back, Oregon Ducks
The best plays on defense were a pair of diving interceptions. The first came courtesy of former Ducks safety Evan Williams. He could be a late addition in the draft if Philadelphia is interested.
Cooper DeJean, defensive back, Iowa Hawkeyes
Are you noticing a theme here? Yeah... This Eagles team has a lot of defensive backs, but there are more questions than answers, and Cooper DeJean is the type of versatile talent that can slide back and play safety or come down and play a little slot corner.
Yeah... Philly could benefit from that type of versatility.
