The Eagles and Cowboys, after earning victories in Week 8, square off in an NFC East clash this Sunday.

The hour approaches. On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys for the first of two clashes during the NFL's regular season. Both starting quarterbacks, Dak Prescott (Dallas) and Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia), will start in the same game between the rivals for the first time since the Cowboys' shellacking of the Eagles on September 27, 2021.

Prescott missed the first contest between the clubs in October of last season, an Eagles victory. He was recovering from a thumb injury he sustained in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hurts missed the next game, a Cowboys win on Christmas Eve. He was nursing a shoulder issue he suffered during a game versus the Chicago Bears one week prior.

Prescott (304 passing yards, four touchdowns, one interception) and Hurts (319 passing yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions, one lost fumble) both enjoyed their finest performances of 2023 in Week 8.

Each will be looking for a repeat performance to help put their respective team in a good position to win the upcoming game. Add Jalen's name to a list of a trio of Eagles who need to make an impact during the coming contest between a pair of NFC East adversaries.
