Are we hearing this correctly? Eagles GM Howie Roseman may still be working the phones to make one more acquisition?

Okay, we have finally figured it out. When there are rumors that the Philadelphia Eagles are in the mix to land disgruntled players, do nothing. Pay zero attention to what you're hearing. Ignore all theories that a surprise acquisition cometh. On the other hand, when you feel no move is coming and you hear nothing from the NovaCare Complex, that's when you should be certain that the Birds and their vice president/general manager Howie Roseman are up to something.

Don't pay any attention to how close the Eagles are to the salary cap's ceiling. Howie's just going to make the books look as they should anyway.

Following two unexpected veteran additions, wide receiver Julio Jones and safety Kevin Byard, rumor has it that Howie is still working the phones in hopes that one more piece could be added to an already stacked roster. Don't take our word for it. Look for yourselves.

We learned a long time ago that Howie doesn't need our advice or help. We also learned that we enjoy offering it to him anyway.

We offer you four bottom-dwelling teams that should consider a fire sale and for moves that would guarantee a healthy Eagles team the NFC's crown.
