The Philadelphia Eagles would be smart to add younger players to their roster this offseason. There’s no better place to get those young players than by raiding what was the youngest roster in the NFL in 2023, the Green Bay Packers. Let's do some shopping.

None of these impending free agents are top-of-the-line or elite players. They do, however, they are, however, intriguing.

Here are are a few Packers that could benefit the Eagles if added to Philly's roster in 2024.

1. A.J. Dillon - Running Back

A.J. Dillon is 25 years old and entering his fifth NFL season. If you close your eyes and think of a big-bodied, bowling ball, bruiser of a running back, you’ll imagine something in the area of his body type.

He’s six foot tall and 247 pounds of muscle. Last year, the Eagles tried to transform Kenneth Gainwell into a power runner. Dillon is a significant upgrade at the position by about three inches of height and 50 pounds.

2. Jon Runyan Jr. - Guard

Jon Runyan Jr. is 26 years old and entering his fifth NFL season. He would be a good addition to the Eagles roster for two reasons. The first is he comes from good stock. He is the son of Eagles Hall of Famer Jon Runyan.

He’s at the end of his rookie contract with the Packers, so this is the first time he’s become available as a free agent.

The other thing worth noting is he has versatility. He has played guard for the Packers but was formerly a First-Team All-Big Ten tackle at Michigan.

We know versatility is important for depth guys in Jeff Stoutland’s room. Runyan gives Philly that in abundance.

3. Darnell Savage Jr. - Safety

Darnell Savage Jr. is 26 years old and entering his sixth NFL season. He was the 21st overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and he’s been pretty consistent for the Packers over the past five years.

His 2023 season was marred by a calf injury. That was the first time he missed significant on-field time. If the Eagles and Vic Fangio don’t have the utmost faith in Reed Blankenship and/or Sydney Brown, Savage is a player who could stabilize the backend of the defense. Philly should give him a look.

4. Keisean Nixon - Cornerback

Keisean Nixon is 26 years old and entering his sixth NFL season. He spent the first three seasons with the Raiders before joining the Packers in 2022. He’s not a shutdown, stud corner by any means, but he would add depth.

The more notable thing about him is that he’s been the first-team All-Pro kick returner for the past two seasons. If the Eagles decide to move on from Boston Scott this offseason, Nixon would be very valuable as he and Isaiah Rodgers would give them multiple options for the kick returner position.
