Shaq Leonard, linebacker

In a vacuum, the Shaq Leonard signing wasn't a terrible idea by any means when it occurred. Philly certainly needed the help. He appeared in five games, starting three, and he contributed somewhat.

He registered a sack, 23 combined tackles, and two tackles-for-a-loss while playing almost 50% of the team's defensive snaps. He was added because of a win-now Eagles nature.

The Eagles didn't have to give up much to land him. He's an unrestricted free agent come March though, and after the season-ending loss in Tampa, heseemed to cast doubts on whether he'd be back in any capacity next season.

While he's only 28, Leonard has already had two medical procedures done on his back. We've seen former star linebackers retire before they turn 30 before. Even if he does decide to return next season, it probably won't be in Philly. For that reason, we add his name to our list.
