It appears the Philadelphia Eagles threw us a head fake. We thought a Thursday afternoon walkthrough would be sandwiched between Wednesday and Friday morning practice sessions. As it turned out, our Birds appeared to take Thursday off, per Dave Zangaro and Reuben Frank's Eagle Eye podcast (Roob talked to Jason Kelce it appears).

Philly gets back to work on Sunday morning. They have given us plenty to talk about in the meantime.

Young guys are making impressions. Christian Elliss's streak of consecutive practices in which he has picked off a pass ended at three sessions on Friday. Make no mistake about it though. He is someone we are cheering for. He WILL make this team.

All one can ask is that guys make the most of the opportunities that they are given, and the former undrafted Idaho Vandal has done exactly that. The same can be said about many of his teammates. Buckle up. It's time to tip the cap to some guys who are shining.

Here's some Nick Sirianni content for your timeline.

This just in. The workload during training camp might be light and the practice sessions may be short, but laziness will not be tolerated.

Head coach Nick Sirianni ripped into his team on Wednesday through a megaphone. On Friday, he didn't let up one inch.

Say what you will about Nick. He's one heck of a coach. His team respects him, and many of his guys are performing well this summer as a result. Let's put the spotlight on a few who are standing out and throw out a couple of questions ahead of the third session.
